  1. CHRISTMAS WORDS

 COUNTRIES that don’t celebrate Christmas

As we prepare to deck the halls, here’s a look at the holly-free parts of the world

But of the nearly 200 countries on Earth, there are a handful of non-Christian nations that don’t recognise Christmas and have no form of public holiday or observation to mark the birth of Jesus Christ.

While it’s thought that more than 40 countries don’t have official public holidays at Christmas, many of these have at least some form of public observation, such as the occasional Christmas tree. So, here’s a look at the 16 countries in which the population does not observe Christmas in any way at all:

  1. Afghanistan
  2. Algeria
  3. Bhutan
  4. China
  5. Comoros
  6. Libya
  7. Mauritania
  8. Mongolia
  9. North Korea
  10. Pakistan
  11. Saudi Arabia
  12. Somalia
  13. Tajikistan
  14. Tunisia
  15. Uzbekistan
  16. Yemen

4.A LINE OR TWO FROM THE SONG “I’M DRIVING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS”

I’m driving home for Christmas

Oh, I can’t wait to see those faces

I’m driving home for Christmas, yea

Well I’m moving down that line

114         2 – In the world, there are two islands that are named ‘Christmas’ – one is in the Pacific Ocean and the other in the Indian Ocean.

115         20 – You would have to use your artificial tree for more than 20 years for it to be ‘greener’ than buying a fresh-cut tree annually.
