For many people Wimbledon is the highlight event that makes their English summer, for others it is Glastonbury or the Henley Regatta. But for me it is the Lowdham Book Festival. It is my Hay Festival set in the Nottinghamshire village of Lowdham and organised by the amazing “Bookcase Book Shop. A tremendous, beautiful independent bookshop

This year Lowdham Book Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary so to mark the occasion there will be events throughout the month of June
