CORONABOBS ISOLATION DAY 81 – Diary of a Self-Isolator Thursday 4th June 2020

The government decreed that from Monday 15th June when shops reopen everyone has to wear face coverings on public transport. That will feel weird. How will you distinguish between ordinary passengers, bank robbers and sex perverts?

I’ve got to go to the doctors for a blood test Wednesday and apparently, I have to wear a face covering for that too.

Mamma did her online Tesco order today. We saw an item in the newspaper which described Small anxieties of “Online Shopping”. One of which was: Running through the house shouting “I got a slot” as if you’ve just discovered one of Willy Wonka’s golden tickets.

That is so true!

TV wise we saw the fantastic German comedienne Henning Wehn on a repeat of Live at the Apollo. He is so funny.

We also saw the first ever marriage proposal on the finale episode of “First Dates”. Can’t beat it!
