Two major losses to me and my family recently:
My amazing brother in law who I cannot describe how much I will miss and our lives will be so much duller for not having around.
Sadly passed away Friday 23rd October 2020
RIP , John, Why oh why? I shall so miss you.
I have known him and he has befriended me for over 52 years and we’ve never ever had a cross word. I must have wound him up at times, especially as part of the last words he uttered was “I don’t suffer fools.” But he never let me know. We just had billions and billions of laughs.
If anything he must hold the record for squeezing inthe most number of genuine belly laughs into one lifetime.
I feel so lucky and priviledged to have been his brother in law, even if that meant being the butt of his jokes at times. But even that was a priviledge.
I have lots of photographs I’ve taken of him over the years, he always looks good and happy and the picture of contentment. I have to say one of my favourites is where he is holding my new born grandson:
And RICHARD WOOLLEY my wonderful nephew-in-law who’s wit and conversations I will miss.
To pay respect for these two amazing lives the jeanniejeanniejeanniejeannie.co.uk website will have no postings for a couple of weeks from 25th October 2020 up to and including Wednesday 11th Novenber 2020 which would have been John’s 75th Birthday. This is to give us time to adjust to their loss (although we will never acheive that) and reflect on their wonderful lives.
Our condolences to family and friends
A JOHN & MOIRA BIG ADVENTURE
We had so many, many brilliant and hillarious, non stop laughter big adventures with John & Moira.
On one, when it was John & Moira’s 40th Wedding Anniversary his other brother in law (john has two brother in laws), took John & Moira to Rome and arranged an Audience with the Pope.
Not to be outdone. We took them to Skegness and arranged an Audience with Foster & Allem, John’s favourite Irish singers. A time away with wall to wall laughter.
RICH DRIVING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS
We always used to do Uncle John’s at Christmas. And Rich was a big part of those. His fantastic creative mind conjured up many brilliantly hillarious stunts like the “Driving Home For Christmas” by Chris Rea being on continous Play throughout Christmas Day and his many hilarious commants applying to it. Did we hear the track 200 times that day, it seemed like 200 million and created a fantastic memory!
